This triggers the inverter's protective mechanisms, which may include entering a thermal protection mode to prevent damage. Ground Fault Detection systems are also sensitive to environmental conditions; moisture or ice can create unintended paths to ground, leading to interruptions in charging. The inverter may also monitor grid conditions, halting charging if voltage or frequency deviates from acceptable limits to protect both the battery and the grid.
